Architectural photomontage

3D architectural visualisation techniques were combined with location photography to give this artists impression a sense of realism, adding to its attraction and appeal.

Created before the property was even built, this stunning architectural illustration enabled the developer to market and sell the properties at a very early stage of the development.

Constructed on a site previously occupied by a small unsightly industrial unit, the properties were only part-finished when work on the architectural illustration began, and were masked by scaffolding and security fencing.

Working from architectural drawings (PDF) and materials references our CGI studio set to work creating the architectural visual, adding a few artistic embellishments, such as walling, paving and plants.

The 3D architectural illustration was then incorporated into a photograph featuring the site and neighbouring properties.

The final touches were added using electronic image manipulation to remove distracting elements, such as scaffolding, aerials and blemishes on the neighbouring buildings, roads and pavement.

The result is a high quality architectural illustration that shows the housing developments to its true potential.
