Not all of the work we do is purely for profit. When time allows, we are happy to undertake projects for charities and voluntary organisations at a greatly reduced rate, or even free of charge, depending on requirements.

A prime example is our recent work for Tamworth Scouts and Guides, who approached us to create a new visual identity for their upcoming gang show.

Working to very tight budgets, the show could not afford to pay for the professional design and brand identity work required and so we were happy to provide our services pro-bono.

Studio manager, Tim Perks, says; “The gang show needed an identity that would not only be eye-catching and warm, but that would also present Scouting as an organisation that is modern and moving with the times.

“The show’s organisers wanted to break away from the traditional perception of Scouting being about campfires and singing Kumbayah!”

As the ‘face’ of the Tamworth Gang Show, the new identity would be used on t-shirts, posters, stationery, banners, websites, social media and many other promotional items.

Paid or not, we still committed our team fully to the project, working through the various design and development stages as we would with any other client. We offered plenty of creative options, making refinements at each stage before arriving at the final identity.

And we didn’t just stop at designing a logo; a full set of visual identity guidelines was produced, including colour palette, fonts and suggested applications.

Chris Hollyoake, producer of the Gang Show, comments, “The new logo and guidelines are fantastic. They give us a professional image and will provide a real boost for the show.

“Publicity Services have delivered an identity that is vibrant, dynamic and colourful- just what we were looking for!”

Whether you’re a start-up or existing business looking for a signal-boost on your latest product, or a voluntarily-run organisation just looking for a little extra publicity, we’re always up to the challenge!
